Skills for Muse

15 Figma skills that run from a Muse chat, with zero Figma AI credits

KMRVID Muse Skills ports the Figma skills from the KMRVID Claude / Figma editions to Muse. Name a skill in chat, add the Figma URL, and Muse does the work through the Figma connector: pin down requirements, generate pages, clean up structure (layers, tokens, components), translate frames and check accessibility, without consuming any Figma AI credits.

100Mtokens

This skill set is also included as a bonus with KMRVID Claude Skills, KMRVID Figma Skills and the All-in-One Bundle. If you already own one of those, you already have these skills. Please don’t buy them twice.

Built to run in Muse

These are the Figma skills from the Claude and Figma editions, ported so they run from a Muse chat.

No Figma AI credits

Everything goes through the Figma connector, so run a skill as often as you like. (For reference, the same optimization pipeline costs roughly 500 credits per file with Figma’s own agent.)

One uniform environment

Muse runs in a cloud Linux environment that barely varies between users, so behavior verified on the development side reproduces far more reliably than with locally installed tools.

Name the skill in chat

Custom skills in Muse are not slash commands. Name the skill and add the Figma URL. No code editor, no terminal.

Generate new pages too

create-figma-page builds a page from a brief, single or several patterns. For several, each candidate is declared up front (layout model, density, image treatment, type voice, CTA placement) so they don’t converge on the same layout.

Every write is approved

Each change to Figma asks for your approval in Muse first. Review it, then approve to proceed.

English skills, bilingual README

The skills are written in English to save tokens, and Muse replies in the language you chat in. The README in the ZIP is bilingual (Japanese / English) and covers a skill reference and usage notes.

The 15 skills

All 15 skills were confirmed working on the actual Muse + Figma connector runtime as of October 29, 2026.

Optimization pipeline

6 skills

Structure a file, in dependency order

figma-tidy-up

Converts frames to auto layout and structures the tree.

figma-layer-rename

Rewrites auto-generated layer names into code-friendly conventions (kebab-case, etc.).

figma-tokenize

Turns colors, font sizes and spacing into variables; generates text styles.

figma-componentize

Converts repeated elements into components and variants.

figma-enhance

Audits an already structured file for further improvements (missing properties, unbound values) and applies them.

figma-optimize

Runs the pipeline above in dependency order; you choose which steps to run.

Standalone skills

6 skills

Audit, translate, generate pages and rewrite copy

figma-audit

A read-only audit that scores a design across 4 dimensions.

figma-contrast-check

WCAG contrast checks.

figma-alt-suggest

Looks at each image in a frame, judges whether it needs alt text, and writes proposals as Accessibility annotations.

figma-i18n-translator

Duplicates a frame and translates its texts into the language you specify (the original is left untouched).

create-figma-page

Creates a new page from a brief, single or several structurally different patterns. No Figma AI credits used.

rewrite-me

Rewrites the copy (headings, body, CTAs) inside a Figma frame to match a BRIEF.

Guidelines

2 skills

Design and typography guidance other skills draw on

cognitive-ui-design

UI/UX design guidance: reading patterns and cognitive-bias countermeasures. In multi-pattern runs each candidate is declared on five points so they do not converge.

figma-japanese-web-guideline

Japanese web typography and layout guidance (Figma edition).

Text only

1 skills

No Figma writes

brief-me

A requirements interview that produces a BRIEF.md before production starts.

Get started in 3 steps

  1. 01

    Put the skills in Muse

Hand the 15 unzipped skill folders to Muse and ask it to install them. Handing over the distribution ZIP as-is installs all the skills.

  2. 02

    Connect Figma

Connect the Figma connector in Muse, and make sure you have edit permission on the target file.

  3. 03

    Name the skill in chat

Say, for example, “Run figma-tidy-up on this file” plus the Figma URL. Every write to Figma asks for your approval first.

Skills that restructure a file (figma-tidy-up, figma-tokenize, figma-componentize and the like) change your Figma file. Duplicate the file first, or make sure version history is available. Each skill verifies its own work, but a copy is the safest undo.

See it in use:the demo video. More walkthroughs are onthis YouTube playlist. The videos are in Japanese, with English subtitles (CC) on most of them.

Flows that work well together

Clean up a messy file in one go

  1. figma-optimize

tidy-up → layer-rename → tokenize → componentize → enhance, in dependency order. You pick which steps to run.

From requirements to a layout

  1. brief-me
  2. create-figma-page

Pin down requirements, then generate the page. Several structurally different patterns are possible, declared up front so they don’t converge on the same layout.

Check before you hand off

  1. figma-audit
  2. figma-contrast-check
  3. figma-alt-suggest

Score the design on four dimensions, check WCAG contrast, and get image alt-text proposals written as Accessibility annotations.

The Muse skill set stays included as a bonus with the Claude Skills, Figma Skills and Bundle editions. If you also want to work in Claude Code or Figma’s Design Agent, one of those editions is the better value. If Muse is all you need, this standalone package is for you.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

I already own another KMRVID edition. Do I need this?▾

No. This skill set is included as a bonus with KMRVID Claude Skills, KMRVID Figma Skills and the All-in-One Bundle, so if you own one of them you already have these skills.

What do I need to run the skills?▾

A Muse account, the Figma connector connected in Muse, and edit permission on the target Figma file. Muse and Figma plan fees are not included in the price.

Will the skills change my Figma file?▾

Skills that restructure a file change it. Duplicate the file first, or make sure version history is available. Each write asks for your approval in Muse first.

Does it include video lessons?▾

No. The package contains the skills and a bilingual README. The YouTube playlist linked above has walkthroughs, in Japanese with English subtitles on most of them.

Do you offer support?▾

The skills were tested on real Figma files through Muse, but agents and tool versions move quickly, so results can vary. One-to-one troubleshooting is not offered. If something breaks, pass the SKILL.md and the error to your agent; the skills are plain text and easy to adapt.
